[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like a matte lip so I was looking forward to trying this. The colour is really nice and not too bright. The texture is very matte and there’s no slip at all if you like to rub your lips together when applying lipstick. You do need smooth lips as it would make any dryness very obvious. I didn’t notice any transfer of colour when I had a drink either. If you like a matte lip then I think you’ll really like it but if you prefer a bit of moisture then I would avoid. Personally I really like it and will be buying some of the other shades.

It lasts a few hours before needing a top up..I do eat and drink a lot though so might last longer if you don’t lol

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful colour lip crayon. Glides on easily and doesnt tug or bleed. Colour isnt draining for my fair pale skin. Long lasting. I would definitely purchase this in the future once i have finished this crayon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, the packaging for this is great. Its compact and slight, meaning you can pop it in your purse to take with you on the go. I have the colour 'Sizzling Sugar' which is an intense, highly pigmented Berry shade. Unfortunately on first application it was very drying and clung to every bit of dry skin I had on my lips which made it look very blotchy, but its nothing a good lip exfoliation couldn't fix. So if you tend to suffer with dry lips, prepping them is a must (but this is normal for any dry lips + matte lipstick combo). Once my lips were all prepped, it went on a lot better (but still with a little bit of drag). It had almost a satin feel to it and felt silky and light, almost as if I wasn't wearing anything on my lips. I liked how I could control how pigmented it was, I could either apply with a heavy hand for a rich Berry colour or dab it gently across my lips for more of a light Berry flush. The colour held in place for a long time and as it gently faded throughout the day, it didn't go patchy, it just left me with a subtle hue. Full removal was easy and it didn't stain my lips or skin like a lot of other lip crayons do which is always a bonus. Overall its a great lipstick, its easy and convenient and it's available in good variety of colours. You can wear it alone or add some gloss over the top as they pair well together. The only downside is perhaps having to prep your lips beforehand if you suffer with dry lips but it's worth it for the great colour payoff and long lasting wear.
